As we all know, sending something to a BFPO address requires no extra effort on the part of the sender so there is no reason to refuse to send items here. In fact in these current economic times you would think company's would we reaching out for customers. Welcome to the HIVE Cyprus website. This website has been developed as a result of the HIVE Cyprus survey completed by YOU in April/May 2009. The survey identified the need for a communications tool that could be kept up to date and its content relevant to the Service community in Cyprus. The site also allows those being assigned or thinking about taking an assignment in Cyprus with up to date and relevant information. You commented about accessing information during times when your local HIVE was closed. By providing our core business information sheets on this website, those unable to visit during our opening hours or overseas now have access to view/download the relevant information. The site currently hosts the following: News: This is a link to any news that is relevant to the whole BFC Service Community. Local news is via the individual location community news links. Events Calendar: Here all events can be listed as a single point of reference. These include All Island events (not just military) or specific local events and social occasions. Contact your HIVE for inclusion of your event Sales & Wants: You complained that the BFC sales and wants was not available to all and that notice boards always looked a bit tatty and out of date. The HIVE Cyprus sales and wants is a simple to use application were you can list your own items as a member of the BFC Community. Each HIVE has its own space so that local content specific to each location can be accommodated. Currently there are contact details to your HIO, HIVE Information Sheets for each location, A community news area for information specific to your location and a picture gallery.
