HIVE Cyprus provides a means for the BFC community to access not only Service information but to provide information and signposting to external agencies in the SBA, the RoC and the UK. By providing this Service, HIVE Cyprus contributes to development of a 'Welfare Pathway' for the BFC community, which, conceptually, aims to provide to all serving personnel, their families and veterans a means of more easily and effectively accessing the help and advice they might need.

This is supported by a single UK national telephone number +44 (0) 8000 223366 – that provides automated options for both serving and ex-Service personnel, their families and widows to use as an initial port of call, if uncertain of who to contact. Its not intend t to replace existing sources of advice, but it provides a safety net for those who are completely unaware of what is available.
