5	SSAFA Forces Help - Cyprus Assistance from SSAFA Forces Help is available to relieve need, suffering and distress to the following groups of people: Members and former members of all ranks of all Branches of the Armed Forces of the Crown other than Reserve Forces, including the Nursing Services, and their wives, former wives, husbands, former husbands, families, widows, widowers, children and other dependants - Subject to having received One Day’s Pay. Members and former members of the Reserve Forces and their dependants - Subject to conditions. Members and former members of the Mercantile Marine and their dependants - Subject to conditions. British members of the Palestine Police Force who served in World War II and their dependants - Subject to conditions. Members and former members of the Association's Professional Nursing and Welfare Service - Subject to conditions. Citizens of the United Kingdom currently stationed overseas in Service establishments and having the status of being part of the Armed Forces - Subject to conditions. 6	The Royal British Legion (RBL) The Royal British Legion safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of those who are serving or who have served in the Armed Forces. We are one of the UK’s largest membership organisations and recognised as custodians of Remembrance. We also run the annual Poppy Appeal. There are two branches in Cypurs - Limassol & Larnaca.	60

11	Cruse Bereavement Care Death is always hard to cope with especially when the deceased was in the prime of life and we recognise that different groups of people will have different needs. Military life is different from life in 'civvy street' and Cruse Bereavement Care understands that that those people who have lost a loved one whilst they were serving in the Armed Forces may have particular issues and experiences that can complicate the grieving process	97
12	British Animal Rehoming Centre (BARC) BARC Cyprus is RSPCA-Associated and is run by a small group of volunteers bonded by a desire to improve the welfare of the cats and dogs owned by members of BFC. The primary role of BARC is to find new homes for cats and dogs that for any reason cannot accompany their owners on repatriation. They provide import/export services	55
13	Sirius Dog Sanctuary Sirius Dog Sanctuary provides refuge for over 100 dogs that have been abandoned or abused, which is a serious problem in Cyprus. All work is managed by volunteers who are dedicated to make the dogs as comfortable as possible and encourage re-homing.	91
